THE CRISIS IN YEMEN

HOW WE ARE HELPING
To do our part in aiding Yemen, we are collaborating with various student social groups and organizations, including Lower Merion High School's Students Advocating for Gender Equality Club (SAGE), UPenn's Phi Fraternity, and multiple chapters of Model United Nations to name a few. Combining our collective efforts, we are running various fundraisers to support a singular cause. In addition to these, a direct donation below is the most effective method of aiding the people of Yemen.
WIA VOTER DRIVE

WIA is currently working on a Voter Drive at Harriton High School, attempting to mobilize as many eligible student voters as possible. If you have still not registered to vote, head here to easily complete the process.
The people of Yemen face the largest humanitarian crisis in the world. Nearly 80% of the population requires aid, including 12 million children. Famine, economic shocks, war, floods, and cholera are devastating the country, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic. The children and people of Yemen are reliant on the life-saving aid that the UN and other organizations can provide.
